Chimera: two sisters, one body.

Telegraph | News | Sons I gave birth to are 'unrelated' to me

Interesting story. Apparently this woman's mother got her during the stork's 2-for-1 blowout sale.

Note: This website does not, in any way, endorse the buying and selling of babies on the black market. Even if the seller is a white stork.

Kidding aside, this raises some interesting questions. By certain Conservative lines of rhetoric, she could be guilty of invitro cannibalism. Or, on a more chipper note, she might be able to deduct her sister as a dependant! She could get a second SSN and collect double benefits in her old age! Does that mean her kids were conceived in a threeway? Is her husband polygamous? She could ride in the carpool lane by herself!

Cheap shot: She could vote multiple times in elections, and we all know how much Conservative Republicans are into that trick!

Seriously folks, this does have some real interesting implications. What of the soul? Christians say that the baby is alive and has a soul at the moment of conception. Well, there were two kids. Neither died. They became one. Pagans say that the spirit enters the body much later, perhaps even after birth. That would seem to cope well with this dilemma.

Go. Ruminate. That's what the comments section is for. Click the damn thing. Post your thoughts.
