First comment spam
I've been hit with my first comment spam: someone trying to get you to buy prescription Zoloft from them overseas. This is fantastically ironic, considering my rant on America's pill popping habits.
What really burns me is that they left the comment in a post that dealt with a personal social clash between myself and a close friend of mine. Grr. I guess it's time to look into that whole MT-Blacklist thing to keep this from happening again and getting worse.
Edit: Reality has a sense of humor. The spambot came back and put the ad into the post I made about pill popping. Gotta love the irony. I'm not sure whether I'm going to delete it this time or not. It's almost beyond being spam at this point, and has become a short, completely incoherant argument contradicting the one I made. I almost want to leave it there to be fair to the cause of enlightened debate... AND to make a fucking point about society.
Edit again: The spam is gone now. I decided the best way to deal with it was to use it as target practice for my new comment-spam-killing software. My software works, the spam is gone, and there was much rejoicing.
